A nightclub Percussion and Saxophone duo that has already toured the French Alps, Ibiza and Marbella perfecting their act, has now teamed up with London’s top DJ Dan Healy to form The Live Elements.

FiSH on Percussion

Over the past 5 years FiSH has become the most requested and successful Nightclub Percussionist from the UK. This summer he took IBIZA by storm performing weekly at the biggest and best clubs in the world including: Space, Privilege, Es Paradis, Eden and poolside at the Ibiza Rocks Hotel. In the past he has entertained Beyonce at her VIP Afterparty in Egypt, performed on the main stage at the European Winter X Games in France (filmed by ESPN), performed on 3 European Tours, and supported dozens of major artists such as Professor Green, Rizzle Kicks and Example. Now with nearly 700 performances in the club industry alone, he has built up an extremely successful reputation as the most energetic and entertaining Nightclub Percussionist from the UK.

The SaxMan Ben Barnett

His recognised talent has led him to obtain residencies in venues around the globe, in all London’s top nightclubs, and Marbella’s, and Ibiza’s, he is everywhere…if you haven’t been amazed by him already, you will be soon! The SaxMan began playing the sax from the early age of 10 and has developed vast experience in performing for events & occasions of ALL styles & sizes. With over 15 years of international performing experience, The SaxMan can cater for any event!

With his unique stage presence including a custom built sax, which provides a full LED light show and a permanent smile. The SaxMan is now rightly becoming the most in demand freestyle saxophonist from the UK.

DJ Dan Healy

In London, you can regularly find him dropping bombs at Chinawhite and Maddox, alongside superstar dj’s like David Guetta, Calvin Harris, and recently, creators of the city’s current No. 1 single, Far East Movement. His residency at Aura Mayfair has become one of the most talked about and successful Saturdays in the Capital, and his (ongoing) appointment as DJ for the Vendome World Tour has seen some ridiculous parties take place in Switzerland, Egypt, Dubai, Sweden and 5 years playing at Zurich’s finest venues: Kaufleuten, Jade, Saint Germain, Flamingo.

Dan Healy has DJ’ed for Justin Timberlake, Pharrell Williams, Paris Hilton, Hugh Hefner, Macy Gray, Eric Morillo, Carl Cox, Timberland and Jay-Z.

Located in Hossegor, le ROCK FOOD is the most famous international spot for pro surfers and surfer fans. Is an unique place for gathering for 20 years. Here, no borders anymore, all people are mixed together in a very friendly atmosphere.

All the bar and the atmosphere of the bar is represented by his owner, ROLAND CALAUDI, a passionate of surfing, travels and ocean.

Speakers of the most important surf events, friend with many pro surfers. A very original guy who can rock a party and make it unforgettable with his infectious madness!

His last craziest thing? It’s located in million miles away from the ROCK FOOD, in Indonesia, in Bali’s island precisely : INDO CHILDREN FUTUR. In year 2000, Roland found INDO CHILDREN FUTUR, an association for handicapped children. After he run into the Sari Club’s terrorist attack in Bali, the humanitarian association becoming expert in emergency response.

A Handicapped and Orphans Center has been created. INDO CHILDREN FUTUR ensures financial, study program and logistic. On Indonesian islands, the association helps the victims of tragedies such as earthquakes, tsunami and other natural disasters. Several containers full of food, medicines and clothes as well as technical and educational equipments are sent many times in a year from Hossegor (France) to the survivors.

INDO CHILDREN FUTUR brings together men and women who would like to help, simply and pragmatically, Balinese children. Many pro-surfers and famous brands like Quiksilver, Rip Curl and Billabong are partners of INDO CHILDREN FUTUR. Kronenbourg, Ets Mares, Testud Company and a lot of unnamed persons take part in this collective effort in favor of Indonesian population.

At the end, INDO CHILDREN FUTUR is grateful that the association’s commitment is highly appreciated and acknowledged by both Indonesian Government and the Surfing industry.

La Grotte du Yeti takes on commitment to give the half of the benefice of the event to INDO CHILDREN FUTUR.

Wednesday, March 14, enjoy the very great set of our favorite duet DJ, Tambour Battant, children of hip-hop, rock and electro music. They will be joined by our best breakdancers, the Turn it Loose Crew, especially from Holland. Thursday, March 15, DJ Fly, hip-hop, rock, soul and electro DJ, winner of DMC World Championship in 2008. He will be accompanied by Turn it Loose and our two talented English girl dancers. And finally, Friday, March 16, La Grotte du Yeti programs you a special instrumental show with the DJ Dan Healy’s, live percussion with THIS IS FISH and THE SAX MAN on saxophone. A trio straight out of from England for a very happy end that will not forget!

We don’t have to introduce you to NouveauBeats as he is massively famous, especially since his first hit, Can U Handle which turned on many desks in the Netherlands. Neils Brooimans aka NouveauBeats finds his inspiration in House music, electro and minimalist techno.

Vincent le Fin started mixing in 2008 when he mixed deep house and tech house with a touch of saxophone played by Nicolay on Sax. The duet was then joined by the best jazz pianist in the Netherlands: Michiel Borstlap.

You can probably guess that the combination of NouveauBeats with Vincent le Fin creates sparks and they want to share with you this winter in La Grotte du Yeti. The explosive combination between progressive house, house tech and electric house won’t leave anyone cold and the shows put on by these two DJs are considered as the craziest in the DJ scene.

Write the dates down and don’t miss them! The DJs will be in Les Coches on January, 30^th before heading to St François for two mix sessions on January, 31^st. The duet will then wake St Sorlin up on February, 1^st before ending the adventure in Risoul on February, 2^nd.

Don’t put your calendar away, we are not done yet! Parties start really early this year. The first rendezvous not to miss: December 14^th and 15^th in Risoul with FISH – live on percussion, our favourite world famous percussionist. Last season he hosted two of our big events in La Grotte du Yeti: NRJ in Risoul in March and the Winter X Games Europe in Tignes, where FISH teamed up with the talented Sax Man to set fire to the local nightlife in the name of La Grotte du Yeti. Want to know more about FISH and his music? Go see his website or his Youtube channel. You will be amazed. This year he wants to introduce a brand new artist who is a promising talent: Gemma Dance. She toured with FISH for 4 months in various famous Ibiza venues, such as Privilege and Es Paradis & Space Club. Take Yeti’s word for it, this dancing-girl will astonish you. That’s not all for La Grotte du Yeti Risoul since our brilliant DJ Lady G will spend a whole week in La Grotte du Yeti for our big pleasure and surely yours as well. Those who were in Risoul when Studio Brussel came to La Grotte du Yeti last season will surely remember the Belgian DJ. She enjoyed herself so much in Risoul that she is coming back from February 4^th to 12^th. After desks of around the world, Lady G has become the official DJ of Kimberley Gibbs, RnB artist. She also mixes regularly for a radio show in Luxemburg: Cash Kings. Belgium is coming to the Alps, an event no one should miss. We already told you, prepare yourself for the explosive come back of La Grotte du Yeti this season and add your two cents! Just to remind you, La Grotte du Yeti will open its doors in Les Deux Alpes December, 3^rd while Risoul will start the party on December, 10^th. St Sorlin d’Arves, St François Longchamp and Les Coches will be last to open on December, 17^th. We are preparing amazing nights and parties that you won’t forget that easily. The few moments of bad weather slightly changed the schedule of events, but didn’t affect the morale. Slopestyle, Superpipe, skiing, snowboarding, motocross … the X-Games had it all. all that is famous X-Games has ensured the show. And as many say, the Winter X-are the place to be in Europe, according to professionals at Aspen in the US.

Performance levels were astounding and France’s Kevin Rolland was a sensation, winning his fourth consecutive gold medal ski superpipe, while the Canadian, JF Houle, finished first in the ski slopestyle. In Queens, Kaya Turski confirmed her talent with the ski slopestyle gold medal and Sarah Burke went to the top of the podium in ski superspipe, ahead of Anaïs Caradeux. Snowboarding has its champions, too: and all were American gold medalists: Louie Vito and Chas Guldemond for the men and Jamie Anderson and Kelly Clark for the women. Impressively, the record score obtained in snowboard slopestyle was awarded this year to Chas Guldemond in Tignes! The time was 99.33: pretty impressive, right?

Of course, the Winter X-Games are first and foremost a competition, but this event is also a great way to celebrate the freestyle and extreme sports. La Grotte du Yeti could not pass up the opportunity to join in the dancing! As a partner of the event, La Grotte du Yeti too charge of the Winter X-Games’ music programming, which attracted thousands of people who gathered in Tignes for the occasion. Performance art was just one offering from La Grotte du Yeti, they also had plenty of performances from artists, such as the P2DJS, Loo & Placido, the percussionist Fish and the sounds of Sax Man. Not only that, but the talented graffiti art and painted canvases live on stage, certainly dazzled the eyes.

If you were unable to attend the Winter X-Games Europe 2011, rest assured, they will return in 2012 in Tignes and La Grotte du Yeti will make every effort to provide breathtaking music and festivities!

This season saw an influx of young people from France, as well as from other countries, coming to sample the delights of skiing and après-ski. The lucky ones, those located in one of the resorts in the Alps with one of our bars, undoubtedly had a holiday to remember. La Grotte du Yeti offers lively après-ski, guaranteeing an evening of mountain madness. This year those looking for a party have headed to La Grotte du Yeti, the place to be seen on your skiing holiday.

Did you spend a week, or a few days, with La Grotte du Yeti, but it all seems so long ago and you really want another taste? Or perhaps you couldn’t make it this year, and want to know what you’ve missed out on? Here, we’ve selected the best of the 2010-11 season, just for you.

The season got off to a strong start in early January at Risoul and Les Deux Alpes, which saw the arrival of the best TV channel M6 Music Club DJ. Yes, DJ Kaio came to La Grotte du Yeti to provide the sets of his best après-ski mix and make it an evening to remember at La Grotte du Yeti.

He couldn’t get enough of the great atmosphere though and DJ Kaio returned in late February, this time at Avoriaz, and the whole station was delighted! He was stationed on the terrace of one of the central wooden chalets, right by the track, and DJ Kaio certainly had an effect on the skiers and snowboarders, who all raised their hands in time with his set, as they skiied!

Avoriaz was also in the spotlight for the Snow Energy Festival, held from January 24^th to the 26^th. A string of skiers and snowboarders, took to the tracks dressed as superheroes, rabbits and even Yeti, and made the most of the evening après-ski and DJ sessions, organised especially for the occasion at La Grotte du Yeti in Avoriaz.

In late January and early February, La Grotte du Yeti was proud to invite DJ Lindo Duvall, the official DJ of Radio Netherlands, Radio 538. La Grotte du Yeti at Risoul, St François Longchamp and St Sorlin d’Arves were able to enjoy four nights of incomparable mixing by DJ Lindo Duvall. Whether you are Dutch, French or from anywhere else, there is no shortage these fun evenings there!

The month of February started well and our favourite Belgian DJ tuned into one of the hottest periods of the season. DJ Zohra, one of the most glamorous and captivating DJs, did us the honour of hosting at the La Grotte du Yeti bars in Les Menuires, Les Coches / La Plagne, St Sorlin d’Arves, Risoul and Deux Alpes. These were five nights that will be remembered for years to come, by all who were there to enjoy it!

La Grotte du Yeti is more than just bars though, and they seek to provide the best skiing entertainment there is. As such, the Yeti could not fail the grab the opportunity to take part in one of the most exiting sporting events of the season: the Winter X-Games Europe 2011 in Tignes, which were held from the 16^th to the 18^th March.

As a partner of the event, La Grotte du Yeti team took to the stage in the Winter X-Games Village, with amazing DJs setting the tone for a night of pure mountain madness, that only La Grotte du Yeti can provide! The least we can say is that the effect was magnificent. A few of the stars of the show were: the P2DJS, with a unique and highly charged electro sound, DJ Jasmine from Paris, French radio DJ and host, Evan, our legendary percussionist and saxophonist FISH, The Sax Man with their dancers, DJ Chris Guetta, Cathy Guetta’s brother, and of course our electro rock duo; LOO & PLACIDO.

There were more than 200,000 of you in 2010-2011 who chose the best après-ski bar in the Alps to brighten up your après-ski evenings, so thank you. We’ll see you there next season; be prepared, it’ll be coming around soon!
