YETICARD ?

Warm and sexy underwear : a contradiction in terms?

At the risk of disappointing you, I’m afraid the combination of skiing and underwear is far from sexy! Skiing means intense cold and that obviously means that your skin is covered from head to foot. It’s difficult to be ultra-glamorous when wrapped up like an onion. With a very few exceptions – by which we mean the handsome guys and splendid girls who manage to look sexy even if they’re dressed up as Kinder Pingui -  the answer is NO. No, ultra-glamorous underwear for skiing really does not exist. You will have to choose between being sexy under your ski suit or feeling cold on the ski tow.

Sexy under your ski suit

So how can you be sexy under your ski suit? Quite simply by being content to wear normal underwear. What could be more glamorous than a slightly unzipped ski suit providing a glimpse of a muscled torso, or ski pants revealing trendy underwear? What is more seductive than a lace-trimmed bra under a quilted jacket? Absolutely nothing! And certainly not the chilblains that you’ll get after just one day spent going up and down the slopes. In case you haven’t realized, the key to underwear is quite simply the secret of feeling comfortable on the slopes. To be able to enjoy snow sports without taking the risk of turning into a block of ice, appropriate underwear is vital and must not be overlooked.

Keeping warm on the ski tow

To be at your best on the pistes, choosing your underwear is the most important step, as you will have realized by now! Fortunately, manufacturers compete to seduce you and offer you sheer pleasure while skiing for hours. A good undergarment must most importantly absorb and eliminate the moisture produced by perspiration. There are two solutions for this: synthetic fibers and merino wool. The first option is unbeatable in terms of the speed at which it dries, but the second is much warmer and has one priceless quality – it removes body odor! There is nothing sexier than smelling attractive after a day spent skiing, don’t you agree?
